Commercially there are two varieties of coffees worldwide: Arabica and Robusta. Colombia offers the washed Arabica variety, which due to its softness in the cup is the most wanted by demanding customers.

To produce the richest coffee in the world, the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia has improved its technology, which is transferred to the coffee growers through the National Coffee Research Center -Cenicafé, the agricultural extension service and the Manuel Mejia Foundation, therefore, guaranteeing high quality standards.

In Colombia, coffee is produced at the three cordilleras that go through the national geography, occupying a total of 900.000 cultured hectares. The Colombian coffee growing regions are located between 1.200 and 1.800 meters above sea level, where temperature ranges from 18 and 21 degrees Celsius, and rain fall from 1.800 to 2.800 mm.

Predominant soils consist of residues of volcano ashes, a comparative advantage that has allowed us to produce coffee with exceptional organoleptic characteristics.
